TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Schedule: This year’s schedule will be the same as last years schedule with any 100m or 200m events with 4 or more heats running at the start of the meet on Wednesday. This will turn the Friday Heats into semi-finals. The events affected by this will be sent out on Monday provided all entries are in on time.

GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT

1) No athlete or coach is to be on the main field unless they are part of the javelin competition. We will have javelin staked off but all athletes and officials are asked to stay off the infield.

2) Unsportsmanlike conduct by any competitor or coach will result in the disqualification of the competitor and/or coach.  This includes swearing at an event or at the finish line.

3) The use of loud radios, MP3 players or tape decks, footballs, baseballs or other throwing objects are not permitted.

4) Entries were submitted your schools coaches. Changes can only be made by your schools substitution forms which must be handed in at the coaches meeting on Wednesday or before the meet begins on Thursday. 

5) The top four finishers in each event will advance to the CWOSSA T&F Championships. Scratches must be made on the CWOSSA board in the shed and should be done continuously throughout the meet.  Any athlete that is not highlighted will advance and the school will be required to pay the CWOSSA fees.

6) Please request that your athletes put their garbage in the appropriate containers.

7) Tents and tarps are permitted on the tower field, not in the fenced area around the track.
